Since the Summer of 2024, I have both worked with and studied under the expertise of Sarah Hodgkins, learning about the ins and outs of mural painting in the business world.

From private wall accents to large-scale community showcases, the most notable piece to date was painting the front of the old cinema in Luton town centre, paying homage to its art deco roots. The BBC news article link can be found above.

Although painting outside in March meant there were times where I felt I was spending more time huddled in the McDonald’s toilets with my hands under the hot tap for fear of frostbite, the experience was utterly invaluable.

This education has been a huge learning curve and stepping stone towards my own professional debut.
