Welcome to my Easel!
Sharing my Journey
Unfortunately my intro is hopelessly cliche: my passion for art started when I was young and enamoured with the horsey childhood and artistic pathway that my mum took through her early life. Inspired as I was, my own childhood closely resembled hers as I obsessively sketched and painted horses… and only horses. They were, in short, my sole muse and no amount of persuasion could get my obstinate little hands to draw anything else.
As I progressed through school, while I begrudgingly branched out into new subjects, at any given opportunity, you bet the horses would make an appearance (inevitably becoming an infamous, longstanding joke with my exasperated teachers). Despite this, I both enjoyed and excelled in art lessons all the way to sixth form where I graduated with an A* in Fine Art.
During this time, I started to think seriously of my future in art so I began to experiment widely with printing, textiles, gouache, woodwork, trying to find where my heart lay. While I won’t hesitate to push myself out of my comfort zone for the sake of growth, the buttery texture and vibrant colours of oils are, in my opinion, unmatched by any other, and will likely remain the medium of use in all my future portraits.
Speaking of, these emerged in the form of presents for family members, which then expanded exponentially to payed commissions for friends, who in turn granted me wider contacts! Constant development of my own technique in ‘expressive realism’, made me see this as a viable pathway as a career.

It is always such an honor to connect with and portray each unique animal that comes my way, so don’t hesitate to send me an email to begin our exciting collaboration of creativity!

Wall Art and Murals
Storytelling Wall Art in Children’s Bedrooms
Celebrate your child’s creativity by allowing them to curate their own story and collaborate on its interpretation and depiction within the room. Together we can construct a unique, personal and interactive space for them to feel entirely at home in.
As a keen fiction reader and creative writer, I am enthused by the prospect of conflating storytelling with art, not just on the canvas, but scaling up to transport you in your environment into the world of your dreams. So you can live in your story.
